Where Dreams Come True
Max Pillar was known as the ‘King of Dance Music’ throughout the Pacific Northwest. He was a mainstay at both the Trianon Ballroom and Parkers on Aurora. Originally from Chicago, Max brought his clarinet and saxophone to Seattle and launched his own band. Pillar passed away in May 2002. He is often mentioned to this day on KIXI-AM 880.
